For way too long, playing guitar has been seen as a mainly masculine thing; 80s was dominated by male guitar virtuosos such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen etc – can you name any female guitarists from that era (other than Jennifer Batten and Lita Ford)?

2018 we have Nita Strauss (Ibanez’ first female artist with her own signature guitar), Orianthi and Nili Brosh leading the way to not only give women a positive role model to look up to, but also guys as they each are phenomenal guitarists.
